Our vision

Around the world, the elderly, women, and children are the most vulnerable members of society. In developing countries, poverty, lack of clean water, food, clothing, medical supplies, coupled with internal strife, have contributed to their misery. In Ethiopia, specifically in the Amhara region, millions have been displaced and are living in makeshift compounds and shelters. They are in need of food, clothing, drinking water, and medical supplies. We want them to start a peaceful and prosperous life on their own. The goal of the Maryland Amhara Organization is to bring awareness of this crisis and their plight to the American people and the international community. Together, we can make a difference in their lives so that they can have hope for the future.
